ElenaRede
Elenarede - born Elena Re Depaolini – is widely known and acclaimed as one of the most eclectic and refined sculptress in the world. Revealing her most intimate vocation, Elenarede masters an art made of sophisticated blends of rare natural materials to distill the purest gist of the Spirit and the truest essence of a figuration coloured with a kaleidoscopic variety of archetypal reminiscences that blurs the boundaries of time and space, insinuating a fragrance of infinitude and imperishability.
Several public recognitions called her on the international artistic landscape such as, most notably, the exhibitions of Villa Doria Pamphili (Rome), of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Berlin Stattbad (Berlin), of the Carrousel du Louvre (Paris), of the Italian Pavillon at the World Exposition Milan 2015 and of the 54th International Art Exhibition in Venice. Additionally, her artworks have been displayed at Art Basel (Miami), at Sanat Fuari (Istanbul), at the Grimaldi Forum of Monaco, at the Luciana Matalon Foundation (Milano) and at the exhibition From Giorgio De Chirico to Elenarede (Alassio). Lately, her monumental artwork Re-Nasci has been exhibited in Sanremo (Imperia), while her largest monumental sculpture, The Cat of Triora, commissioned by the promoters of the project Grand Pardon for the first Museum dedicated to the Cat in the world, under the patronage of UNESCO and the Liguria Region, stands out of the medieval walls in the tiny town of Triora (Imperia).
Her artworks -all unique pieces- are exposed in some of the most important private and public Italian and international collections.
